Living in one of the largest cities in the country gets costly. I have resided in Chicago for some years, and it is still tough for me to adjust to the costly lifestyle. Because I was not accustomed to all of these excess expenses, I soon discovered myself in danger of forfitting my home. I had to find a way to protect myself, so I contacted an Illinois law group. They provided numerous services, but I was most interested in their expertise in chicago short sales.

I acknowledged that the value of my house had dropped substantially, so if I tried to sell my property through traditional means, then I would still owe the bank the balance on my home. I possessed a mortgage on the property that cost much more than what my home was presently valued. I did some inquiry and found out that if I did go through with this procedure, then I would be comparatively sound in the end. If my lawyer did his part, then I would walk away from the mortgage with no obligations. I would be responsible for taxes, but those were unavoidable due to the kinf of loan I had. My credit mark would not be strained because my lawyer had the bank agree to make it look like the loan was settled.

My attorney and the bank went through negotiations on the final sale price of the property, but I did not have much of an effect during this process. I simply had to sign any paperwork my lawyer confronted me with.The bank found a buyer for my property, and they were able to sell the house. At that point, I was free from the house and the bank was no longer worried about the homeowner neglecting payments. I was satisfied to finally be out of my house and all of the stress that it presented me. The incredibly high mortgage payments kept me from relishing life, so this was a welcome shift.I owe all of my fresh freedom to the Illinois law group that served me. Without the help of my attorney, I would not have been able to free myself from the load of my home.
